About us

Kays Hill Animal Sanctuary has been around (in one form or another) for over 10 years. We moved to our current location a couple of years ago - and it has to be said that it has not been without its traumas!

Our primary reason for being is to provide safety and shelter for animals in need. At any one time we have up to 300 animals in our care (see the different pages for our current residents).

Some animals come to us for a short while and find new homes very quickly, others come to us and stay.

We are a completely independant organisation but we are proud to work alongside other Rescues and Sanctuaries in the area.

The Sanctuary is in the process of becoming a registered charity, but at the moment we are self funding and supporting. We raise money through our stall at saint cathrines comunity centre Crook - so if you are in the vicinity, please come by and say 'hello'. All the money that we raise goes to feed and look after the animals in our care (anyone who has a pet knows that this is not a cheap business).
