Beech Tree Bunnies is a Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue, based at Kibworth, near Market Harborough, Leicestershire,
We have under cover facilities for 30 pets and outdoor retirement areas for several more.
We started in January 2003 with five rabbits and one Guinea Pig and just grew from there.
We are totally self- funded, helped by volunteers, and raising money in various ways from holding stalls at the local boot sales, selling plants, boarding pets while people are on holiday.
We try not to turn down any pets, unless we are absolutely full. Most of our residents only stay for a few weeks. But some can't be re-homed for various reasons and they just stay on in our retirement area.
All our work is voluntary, we don't have any paid staff - all profits raised goes towards Food, Vets Fees, and Hutches Etc.
We are currently trying to raise funds to fit hutches into our new shed.
We ask you to fill out and sign an adoption agreement form. This confirms your commitment to the animals’ comfort and happiness in your care.
After rehoming, and for the rest of the animals life, if you have any questions or problems, no matter how small, we will be at the end of the phone to help you as much as we can.
If at anytime in the future you become unable to care for your pet as agreed, you may return them to us.
We do not “sell” animals. But we hope that when you adopt animal from us you feel able to make a donation to the rescue. We are totally reliant on donations for our funding our continuing work at Beech Tree Bunnies rescue.
Beech Tree Bunnies now welcomes all gifts of used postage stamps, seeds and any other collectable items and sells them for the benefit of our rescue Rabbit and Guinea Pigs.
We also make use of any unwanted hutches, runs or any other pet items that are no longer needed.
