We are a small home run rescue based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. We rescue and rehome rabbits and guinea pigs. We have had a few successful rehomes so far but are hoping to reach higher numbers this year. If we raise enough money and gain enough support we are hoping to expand and open up an animal rescue. We would also like to register as a charity this year so any support you could offer would be amazing!
If you are interested in adopting from us then please message us or contact us on Facebook. The adoption fee for an adult rabbit is £50 as this covers neutering costs. For guinea pigs and babies it may vary but will never exceed £50. Each rabbit and guinea pig is vet checked before going to its new home. We also have adoption forms which must be filled out and a home check might be carried out.
You can help us by either donating goods such as hutches, food, bedding etc. Or by donating money. Each donation goes back into the rescue to help us rehome more and more animals. This money also means we can take in sick or disabled animals and provide the care that they need. You can also donate by supporting Vets4Pets in Huddersfield and saying we sent you. Mention my name, Amanda Sedgewick or the rescue and you will receive £5 off and so will we! We are always looking for helpers who are passionate about animals to attend events with us.
