Rabbit Welfare Petition

Did you know that rabbits are the UK's third most popular pet, yet the MOST neglected and cruelly treated out of all pets? Camp Nibble, a rabbit welfare charity, have created a petition urging the government to introduce a code of practice for the welfare of domestic rabbits (as currently exists for dogs and cats).

Rabbits are very sensitive, intelligent animals with complex needs and live over 10 years, so the idea that they are 'cheap, easy to care for, disposable pets' needs to change so that people know what they're signing up for when they buy a rabbit. The government introducing a code of practice for the welfare of domestic rabbits would begin to help educate the general public and make a change to reduce the widespread suffering of pet rabbits.

We need YOUR help to obtain 100,000 signatures!
